Independent verification

Check the record yourself.

You do not have to take our word for a Thorium audit trail, and you should not have to. Drop the verification file below and this page re-derives the whole hash chain in your own browser. Nothing is uploaded, no account is needed, and the answer does not depend on us being honest at the moment you ask.

The .json file from Thorium, under Export on the audit log or on a document. A .csv export is for spreadsheets and cannot be checked here. Nothing is uploaded.

How the check works

  1. 1Each entry commits to its own contents and to the digest of the entry before it.
  2. 2Re-deriving those digests from the file proves nothing was edited, reordered or removed.
  3. 3Changing one entry invalidates it and every entry after it, so a quiet edit has nowhere to hide.

What this does not tell you

The chain proves a trail is internally consistent and unedited since export. It does not prove the file came from Thorium, because anyone can generate a self-consistent chain of their own. That is what the certificate seal on a completed document is for, and confirming a seal requires the issuing secret, so it is checked by us rather than here. If provenance is what you need, ask the sender to have the certificate confirmed.
